25 Or 50 BSP?

SGS Market Timer Status:  LONG
LONG as of the close of Friday August 16, 2024
Previous SGS Status

SGS is a Long-Term (weeks to months) Timer
SGS & SGS-ST Performance Data

SGS Market Timer

As of the close of last Friday (9/13), the value of SGS was calculated to be +233 and the status of SGS remains Long.

S&P 500 Support And Resistance Levels

The support and resistance levels for the current week in the SPX are shown above. The employment data looks good, inflation is trending down, and the consumer is spending. I expect the Fed lowering the federal funds rate by only 25 bases points (0.25%). I also expect indices react positively and reach new all-time high later this week.
My Plan

I am planning to add to my long positions sometime early this week.

No Change Since Last Week

SGS Market Timer Status:  LONG
LONG as of the close of Friday August 16, 2024
Previous SGS Status

SGS is a Long-Term (weeks to months) Timer
SGS & SGS-ST Performance Data

SGS Market Timer

As of the close of last Friday (9/6), the value of SGS was calculated to be +105 and the status of SGS remains Long.

S&P 500 Support And Resistance Levels

The support and resistance levels for the current week in the SPX are shown above. The employment data that was released on Friday was not as bad as feared. I think that chances are good that the US economy avoids a recession in 2024 or early 2025.
My Plan

For now I am staying with my long positions.

Recession Or No Recession

SGS Market Timer Status:  LONG

SGS Market Timer

As of the close of last Friday (8/30), the value of SGS was calculated to be +278 and the status of SGS remains Long.

S&P 500 Support And Resistance Levels

The support and resistance levels for the current week in the SPX are shown above. The employment data to be released on Friday this week is critical. If that data disappoints the market, there would be a good chance that indices sell off this month to test early August lows.
My Plan

For now I am staying with my long positions.
